I administer a live WordPress site for an organization where the stakes are real — staff depend on it, the public reads it, and there’s no IT department to call. The automation work is the same. These aren’t demos. They’re processes that run every month for people who would notice immediately if they broke.
- You get the person doing the work. Not a salesperson, then a handoff to someone you’ve never met.
- No phone required. Email, text, Slack, Teams, whatever you already use. Video calls when they’d genuinely help — never a standing weekly check-in.
- I document what I build. If you replace me, you’re not stranded.
- I’ll tell you when you don’t need me. Sometimes the answer is a cleaner spreadsheet, not a project.
